Full tour-description:

Day 1-2: Arrival in Lima and Cusco

The first day you will arrive in Lima, the sizzling capital of Peru.

The next day you take your flight to Cusco. Here we will brief you about your tour. The rest of the day you can stroll the streets of Cusco and visit the famous Plaza de Armas and museums in the white city.

Cusco is a city in southeastern Peru, near the Urubamba valley (Sacred Valley) of the Andes mountain range. Cusco was the capital of Inca Empire. The historic city is one of those magical places where the successive layers of its unique evolution mingle in all aspects of everyday life. It's long-lasting appeal stems both from the legacy of its ancient inhabitants and the dynamic input of modern day mestizos. Not in vain Cusco was considered best tourist destination by Wanderlust magazine.

Day 3: Cusco-Puno

The adventure begins as we follow the Highway, we will leave Cusco and ride to Puno.

Puno is an important agricultural and livestock region; particularly of South American camelids (llamas and alpacas) which graze on its immense plateaus and plains. Many homes in Puno, much like surrounding cities, are half-finished. This is done so that the inhabitants do not have to pay taxes. Much of the city economy relies on the black market, fueled by cheap goods smuggled in from Bolivia.

Day 4: Titicaca-Lake

The first day we will visit Uros Island and we will stay in Amantani Island in a home stay (a really Peruvian experience).

Uros Islands or the Floating Islands are man made islands out of reeds. The reeds grow naturally on the banks of the lake, the Uros people take them and form islands out of them, by constantly adding reeds on the surface. These islands often float on the lake Titicaca, that is why they are also named Floating Islands.

Day 5: Puno-Chivay

Crossing the Andes we will ride to Chivay.

The Colca Canyon is one of the deepest and most beautiful canyons in the world. At 3,269m, it is more than twice as deep as the Grand Canyon. It is located some 150km from Arequipa and can be reached from the White City. The Colca region boasts a dramatic and colorful landscape, sprinkled with charming colonial villages and ancestral terraces where grains such as quinoa and corn are grown. The sixteen villages, inhabited by the descendants of the Collaguas and Cabanas tribes, are renowned for their richly decorated churches and vibrant festivals.

Day 6: Cruz del Condor

From our motorcycles we will enjoy all the viewpoints from the left side of the canyon riding to the Cruz del Cóndor.

Cruz del condor is a popular tourist stop to view the condors, the pass where condors soar gracefully on the rising thermals occurring as the air warms. The condors are best seen in the early morning and late afternoon when they are flying. At this point the canyon floor is 3,960 ft (1,200 m) below the rim of the canyon.. Day 7: Chivay-Arequipa

We will ride to Arequipa city.

Arequipa (the white city) Largely built of sillar, a volcanic porous, white stone, Arequipa lies in the southern highlands of Peru, at the feet of mount Misti, an impressive, white-capped volcano. The Misti is currently inactive, and has been since a small eruption occurred in 1870 (for the really strong ones, we have to leap back to the three decades between 1438 and 1471). The Ciudad Blanca, or White City, as it is dubbed, features a handsome and elegant city centre, lined with white sillar walls and enlightened with Baroque churches and buildings from the Colonial Period.

Day 8: Arequipa-Camana

The adventure begins as we follow the Pan-American Highway northbound, leaving Arequipa in the mountains as we head to the coast. Passing idyllic towns we will arrive in Camana city.

Camana is one of the shore towns that are most preferred in the south of Peru, known for its beautiful beaches.  It is a lovely destination, especially between December and March, with waves that are ideal for fighting off the heat and enjoying the most delicious fish of the Pacific.

Day 9: Camana-Nazca

There is a possibility the coast is cold but the views will be amazing. The adventure continue riding our motorcycles, we follow the Pan-American Highway northbound, leaving Camana.

The next 400 kilometers we will ride through the desert to the Nazca city.

Day 10: Nazca-Ica

After breakfast in your hotel we will continue our journey to the Nazca airport, here we will take the small plane and set off for the skies. It's a 40-50 minute flight over the famous lines. Your pilot will point out the shapes and name the lines for you as you pass overhead.

We will continue our trip to Ica City.

The Nazca Lines are a series of geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert, a high arid plateau that stretches more than 80 kilometers (50 mi) between the towns of Nazca and Palpa on the Pampas de Jumana in Peru. Although some local geoglyphs resemble Paracas motifs, these are largely believed to have been created by the Nazca culture between 200 BCE and 700 CE. There are hundreds of individual figures, ranging in complexity from simple lines to stylized hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys, fish, sharks or orcas, llamas, and lizards.

Day 11: Ica-Paracas

We will ride to Paracas and visit the Ballestas Islands.

Ballestas Islands are home to a great variety of wildlife. There are huge colonies of sea lions and unusual marine birds, such as - Humboldt’s Penguin, cormorants, Peruvian booby and Peruvian pelican. The islands surrounding seas are rich in creel, and associated upper food chain fish. They provide a safe breeding ground for sea lions, pelicans and a large variety of bird life.

Day 12: Paracas-Ayacucho

Again on our route, we will leave the Peruvian coast to go back to the Andes, our route will cross close to 4000 meters high until Ayacucho City.

Ayacucho is famous for its 33 churches which represent one for every year of Jesus's life.[2]. Ayacucho entertains large religious celebrations especially during Holy Week. These celebrations include horse races featuring Peruvian Caballos de Paso and the traditional running of the bulls, known locally as the jalatoro or pascuatoro. The jalatoro is similar to the Spanish encierro, except that the bulls are led by horses of the Morochucos.

Day 13: Ayacucho-Abancay

Nice ride through farmland, little villages and towns. Just take as much pictures as you want and if you want you can try some Alpaca-Steak for lunch!

Day 14: Abancay-Cusco

A perfect day, In the afternoon we will arrive in the Capital of the Inca empire.

Day 15: Sacred Valley

An amazing day, We will ride our motorcycles in the Sacred Valley and visit the city of Pisac.

The Urubamba Valley is also known as “El Valle Sagrado de los Incas”, or the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is a laid back valley near Cusco with a very pleasant climate perfectly suited for farming. Ancient ruins, gentle mountain slopes and scattered farming towns define the valley. The same properties that make the valley attractive for today’s tourist were also the reason why the Inca chose this valley for their permanent settlements. The valley also served as a gateway to the jungle and was easily defendable by Ollantaytambo to the northwest and Rumicolca to the southeast.

Day 16: Machu Picchu

We will pick up you from your hotel and take you to the train station to start your journey to Aguas Calientes. During the train ride you can enjoy magnificent views of Cusco and the atmosphere of the "selva baja". After arriving at Aguas Calientes you will be taken by bus to Machu Picchu.

During the 2 hour guided tour, our guide will give you a lot of information about the specific sites at Machu Picchu, the history and the different theories about the " lost city of the Incas".

Machu Picchu (Quechua: Machu Picchu, "Old mountain") is a pre-Columbian Inca site located 2,400 meters (7,875 ft) above sea level. It is situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru, which is 80 km (50 mi) northwest of Cusco. Machu Picchu is probably the most familiar symbol of the Inca Empire.

This city has been re-discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham. Besides the fascinating Inca architecture and scale of this site, Machu Picchu owns much of its glory to the unique location. Every time you enter the city, you cannot help it but have to gasp. Sometimes called the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu is not Vilcabamba, the last stronghold of the Incas, the city Bingham was looking for. Nor is it Paititi, the City of Gold or El Dorado. In fact most of the history of Machu Picchu is unknown, even though there are many books on the subject, a lot of their content is pure speculation. Ironically, Bingham had already found Vilcabamba without realizing it.

Day 17: Cusco free day

You will stay one day more in Cusco and enjoy the beauty of this magical city.

Day 18: Back home

Early in the morning we will take you to the airport to take your flight to Lima and then your connecting flight home.
